Great fun, beautiful, entertaining
— Der Falter

Unconventional, fresh and exciting: the style of the young Austria-based collective The Loose Collective has already caught the attention of European audiences. The group is composed of international artists, with diverse backgrounds - dance, performance, electronic music and visual arts. They display an eclectic attitude, which rejects hierarchical structures; mixed with scenic energy, humour and unconventionality, it generates fun, entertaining performances. In The Old Testament According To The Loose Collective, they approach the biblical text with philological rigour (or thereabouts...). They offer a translation of the holy book that, by mixing dance with chorus scenes, post-punk music with beat-boxing, restores its creativity and utopia, human ambition and frustration.
